Ferret Joe, my fuzzy character, loves pop culture and all things comics. Towards that end, I've been drawing him as various superheroes and television characters. Some time ago, I came up with the "Doctors of Galliferret" series (I have another Doctor to add), and I've become a big fan of Marvel's Cinematic Universe. Here are a couple of simple designs, done in Illustrator, that will be white ink on a black shirt. I hope you see something you like. Order information coming soon.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
Above, you'll see Aunt May's favorite nephew in his extracurricular uniform. Your spider-sense will tingle when you see how nice this design looks on you!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Next comes the new King of Wakanda. Maybe the people of a highly advanced, yet secretive, society will mistake you for T'Challah when you wear this tee!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Finally, there are times when bright red, white, and blue just aren't the colors you're going for. To keep a lower profile, wear the Captain's stealth suit inspired tee!</div>

I've always been a fan of the artform since discovering MAD Magazine as a kid, and I've churned a number of them out over the years. I even spent one summer drawing them in Liberty Square at Disney's Magic Kingdom. Not the ideal job, but I grew much more comfortable drawing in front of crowds.<br />
<br />
Here's a couple of loose sketches of some of our more questionable world leaders.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHO2AEyrMWnpnE4tbMIKUh9JfY-DDBPjNl_BNsaMyn32sWdx0joiQ-tpB9qYrt5eFeGnxxYzpmkayCnkOFDWghyfNTFiVhRcmT_mCKT1l39ggQTFlpz3Al0Cz4PMaiYz1K8a1WTzCMkHzl/s1600/kimjongun.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1237" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHO2AEyrMWnpnE4tbMIKUh9JfY-DDBPjNl_BNsaMyn32sWdx0joiQ-tpB9qYrt5eFeGnxxYzpmkayCnkOFDWghyfNTFiVhRcmT_mCKT1l39ggQTFlpz3Al0Cz4PMaiYz1K8a1WTzCMkHzl/s320/kimjongun.jpg" width="247" /></a></div>
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Straight out of my sketchbook to you, Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'll add additional political leaders as time goes on.</div>

Disney has had a lot of crazy characters in their movies over the last gazillion years. I took it upon myself to draw the bad guys a while ago. Here are some more of those sketches, a sampling of some of the lesser well known perpetrators of cruel deeds.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBAmn-m-1F8pJuFO8JeHqXs8XaPtfExreFMk4tvIvOA0D3B7XuCn4SC9uryQY9pSE_TWzOuLr7piaetPUVGkEqrxTnZHLa9w2xQuedzCTJz0EVQKUkoBt-vK2YkAd6mj_4QXTJPuEiE8N3/s1600/autopilot.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1198" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBAmn-m-1F8pJuFO8JeHqXs8XaPtfExreFMk4tvIvOA0D3B7XuCn4SC9uryQY9pSE_TWzOuLr7piaetPUVGkEqrxTnZHLa9w2xQuedzCTJz0EVQKUkoBt-vK2YkAd6mj_4QXTJPuEiE8N3/s320/autopilot.jpg" width="239" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This villain is probably the least malicious looking of anything that has ever come out of Pixar. I mean, it's a ship's steering column. But the Auto Pilot in Wall-E had its own directive and was willing to do anything to achieve its goals.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhv9tv6I4wXg04clLUClC0NLktzOWMqDI1SBOzLuOX2HHJ5Da0eynEmpjh793suv50PbZUmp4G69b2kRjQqZMeVNcOYJSY1CTdRZvRmA_h64tFeBEslFOVcFiMLc00OXJo3iHnpyNwvMQDZ/s1600/Bowlerhatguy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1210" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhv9tv6I4wXg04clLUClC0NLktzOWMqDI1SBOzLuOX2HHJ5Da0eynEmpjh793suv50PbZUmp4G69b2kRjQqZMeVNcOYJSY1CTdRZvRmA_h64tFeBEslFOVcFiMLc00OXJo3iHnpyNwvMQDZ/s320/Bowlerhatguy.jpg" width="241" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Although looking like the classic, mustache twirling villain from years gone by, "Meet the Robinsons" Bowler Hat Guy was comically incompetent. No, the true threat was the hat itself.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0UBuEPeFmibUQEA9J2VVrUEk4l8xcKi2c_GXWip3RbRyigkLDfrkLzp6sLGSJy14lvJmfr8WwxAnskZ87mnK_v93oWKSqO-1r8-ECo8aEvDbd45tQ0pqrKYKUsPhe4ef5NA2WOX5b3RV2/s1600/McLeach.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1242" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0UBuEPeFmibUQEA9J2VVrUEk4l8xcKi2c_GXWip3RbRyigkLDfrkLzp6sLGSJy14lvJmfr8WwxAnskZ87mnK_v93oWKSqO-1r8-ECo8aEvDbd45tQ0pqrKYKUsPhe4ef5NA2WOX5b3RV2/s320/McLeach.jpg" width="248" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sometimes a villain is cruel for the pleasure he gets from it. MacLeach was a poacher in the Outback in "The Rescuers Down Under." His prey was the magnificent golden eagle, and he was willing to murder a young boy to keep him quiet about MacLeach's activities.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQYIimYWT9C8NYgRzP246ZshPoCK8s1ainsNx04D28QaC3HrgNT1DQNNjBv56sBsTyzfYk3yFL6OTRC9_l-L1aWcgmulKY93DQKcXk7gSkUkmsPAN2TxgQ6MBKYhCkaz_2W0yddhowdo9b/s1600/medusa.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1234" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQYIimYWT9C8NYgRzP246ZshPoCK8s1ainsNx04D28QaC3HrgNT1DQNNjBv56sBsTyzfYk3yFL6OTRC9_l-L1aWcgmulKY93DQKcXk7gSkUkmsPAN2TxgQ6MBKYhCkaz_2W0yddhowdo9b/s320/medusa.jpg" width="246" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Speaking of "The Rescuers," the original film featured the horrible Madam Medusa. Her greed led her down the path to kidnapping, child slavery, child endangerment, and keeping illegal exotic animals as pets.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Okay, here are a few more of my Batman universe watercolor illustrations. Commissioner Gordon is wearing my glasses.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Edward Nygma is sporting his more subtle look. Well, as subtle as a green suit with purple accessories can be. He did limit the number of question marks in his look. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjynkx0CWwkxYEv27MFd-NttcaIQ6JbU7i6apkQ0CSmI_tB3ouf5USWl4NhyphenhyphenGAe3W3__xa9v6jpcUzMBz4UyfgGFlmEiP0Yc2Eun37X-L9HuNPBWkNjp3Ln5ft33H9LZNcAjN0x3suNNHV/s1600/Pyg2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1237" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjynkx0CWwkxYEv27MFd-NttcaIQ6JbU7i6apkQ0CSmI_tB3ouf5USWl4NhyphenhyphenGAe3W3__xa9v6jpcUzMBz4UyfgGFlmEiP0Yc2Eun37X-L9HuNPBWkNjp3Ln5ft33H9LZNcAjN0x3suNNHV/s320/Pyg2.jpg" width="247" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Professor Pyg is a thing borne of nightmares. My inspiration for this (aside from the actual character itself) is some of the manic villains animated by Don Bluth.</div>

A while back I decided to draw all the Disney villains from the major animated features. Gaston was featured a couple of posts ago, but that was quite a while ago and I never finished sharing them. Here are a few more of them.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEvX2jdvttDMF0sZl93zGN-2er5NbnO04ZPOlpYQlRCPNy_GbkYlPAjcrZcqiIjp6AW-aB7bNFdW3f0DcNzZbRrg71EMuwk4uoPcUg7RNeh5lbfm6LgDND5XBqUmR2N4V8JQTBAJQj1Fom/s1600/bellwether.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1234" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEvX2jdvttDMF0sZl93zGN-2er5NbnO04ZPOlpYQlRCPNy_GbkYlPAjcrZcqiIjp6AW-aB7bNFdW3f0DcNzZbRrg71EMuwk4uoPcUg7RNeh5lbfm6LgDND5XBqUmR2N4V8JQTBAJQj1Fom/s320/bellwether.jpg" width="246" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Cute and innocent she may appear, but Zootopia's Assistant Mayor Bellwether is not to be underestimated.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgk-qf2Om92qG5_ojFA7o8FucNt6s3or4-S0EB87NhlfZdsLcBnpd7JI6kHSFvVwuzprjJghClGrcmY_tjBWFGwiYMptDooM6mcqRPun25TcrgS1-e13j85KuqK61rvUbEdZuJv7SH2aOWL/s1600/ChernabogPrint.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1174" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgk-qf2Om92qG5_ojFA7o8FucNt6s3or4-S0EB87NhlfZdsLcBnpd7JI6kHSFvVwuzprjJghClGrcmY_tjBWFGwiYMptDooM6mcqRPun25TcrgS1-e13j85KuqK61rvUbEdZuJv7SH2aOWL/s320/ChernabogPrint.jpg" width="234" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Less a villain and more a force of nature, Chernabog is the threat in the original Fantasia.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTEmfUN9_5NUPYyzfvTeKlv95IeMc2lKeF7oN8IBr-PAuC6YDdo3a3lU-vCQswBNayCDWmgp5d_eRKJN4Yf91QqLhyphenhyphenTo_HKLoTkmnVVlXEwsKUqlGmVxx2eBd7uobOvMHjrCTkk6fgzuyU/s1600/Clayton.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1204" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTEmfUN9_5NUPYyzfvTeKlv95IeMc2lKeF7oN8IBr-PAuC6YDdo3a3lU-vCQswBNayCDWmgp5d_eRKJN4Yf91QqLhyphenhyphenTo_HKLoTkmnVVlXEwsKUqlGmVxx2eBd7uobOvMHjrCTkk6fgzuyU/s320/Clayton.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Clayton's only goal is the capture of the gorilla family and not even Tarzan will stand in his way.</div>

I decided to play a little with the familiar characters of DC Comics Batman line. I acknowledge that all Batman related characters are copyright of DC Comics, and are here for no other purpose but as fan art.<br />
<div>

First up, the nefarious Clown Prince of Crime, the Joker. Although he's been portrayed in many different ways across multiple media, the characteristics that have stayed with me since childhood are the green hair, white skin, and bright red lips pulled into a gruesome smile. This watercolor version accentuates the fashion style of Jack Nicholson's portrayal, merged with the Bruce Timm animated character, voiced by Mark Hamill. My own style is influenced by the comic creators, as well as animation studios like Warner Bros. and Disney.</div>

Every time I realize it, I feel guilty and promise to post regularly again, then I don't. Guess we're back at the beginning of the cycle once again.<br />
<br />
Anyway, I was very busy during October, somehow managing to stay on top of the whole Inktober challenge this year. I chose to use the posted prompts from Jake Parker, the creator of Inktober, which allowed me to dig deep into my mixed up bag of tricks to find something appropriate for each day's sketch.<br />
<br />
Having gotten the prompts a week or so ahead of the start of the month, I had time to get at least a few ideas in my head, particularly Day 2's prompt: Divided.<br />

My belief is that this country is more divided than it's been in my lifetime, and I lay the blame at our divider in chief, Donald J. Trump. In this illustration, I may have exaggerated his over-sized tie just a bit. Donald stands before a collage of angry faces, including Lebron James and former Sheriff Joe Arpaio. The silhouette of the continental United States is filled with angry emojis. I drew the largest parts on paper with a pen, then used Adobe Illustrator for all the little circles of the emojis. Photoshop brought it all together with the little faces and compositing the piece.</div>

It isn't exclusive to the female villains, either, as Gaston has proven. In Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Disney's first animated feature, Snow White's stepmother is obsessed with being the most beautiful in the land and becomes murderously jealous when Snow begins to mature into a woman lovelier than she. Ironically, the Queen sacrifices the very beauty she cherished in an effort to poison her rival. In this image, I present the cold, arrogant beauty of the Queen in contrast with her magical disguise.<br />

Yes, you can craft gripping tales of people overcoming personal challenges or setbacks, but when you can put a face to your opponent, there's a tangible presence against which to rally. Young adult novels may feature their characters struggling with internal issues about first loves and achieving goals, yet they don't ignore the real threats of bullies intent on causing physical harm. Harry had to deal with the abuse from Draco and his friends, didn't he? But what elevates JK Rowling's series from the average story is the greater threat on an existential level in the form of Lord Voldemort, an individual feared by the entire community at large, but one who has focused his hateful attention on our protagonist. Not many creators generate a villain on that kind of scale, but the animated films of the Disney Company provide more than a few. As I post the character illustrations in this series, I will make some comments about the film and the characters, but those opinions, like the art, are mine. Those characters are copyright Disney and/or Pixar, but I drew them.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00758401824827014000noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2242957650919856886.post-30632948629998897272017-01-27T12:40:00.002-08:002017-01-27T12:45:46.820-08:00Today, I shall start anew.Things have changed in so many ways since I last shared art on this blog. I tend to post my quick sketches on Instagram, but it is hard to really say much about each piece while trying to think of the right hashtags to generate more interest. I started a Disney Villains series I'm going to share here. I haven't been going chronologically, but by the end, I will have every primary bad guy or gal from every animated feature from Disney and Pixar. I may do a second run with villainous sidekicks later.<br />

From Instagram!Well, hi everyone! Please get a shovel and help me knock all the dust off this website, would you? Thanks. I've been drawing, but I've posted a bunch of them on Instagram instead of the old blog. I think it is time to rectify that. I'll just pull up some sketches I've done and offer a little info about them, either the media, or the subject, or whatever.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This one. Okay, this is just a very quick watercolor I put in my sketchbook. I was sitting at Starbucks and was trying to put my thoughts together after being bombarded with the horrible news from that morning. When the idea came to me, I only wanted to sketch it out in pencil to see if worked. It didn't. The idea was good, but my pencil sketch wasn't great, so I inked it. That m ade it better, but I knew that I wanted to add color later. I just couldn't wait for later. I went to the counter and got a cup of water and went back to my table where I had my watercolors in my pack. In under two minutes, this had sprung from my brush.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It moved a lot of people. It was shared, it was used as profile pictures, it was what certain people needed to see in order to grieve over the loss of 49 innocent victims. It grew beyond me. I only wanted to create a tribute. It became a statement.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The only thing I wish differently was the number of people who used it without acknowledging where it came from. I saw protest signs with a variation of this, except the Florida tear was rainbow striped, not the eye. I saw a picture of someone's tattoo. The recreated my image extremely well...except they purposely left my signature off. Even friends posting on Facebook used it without mentioning my name. Ups and downs, dear readers, ups and downs.</div>

Beyond watching the cartoons and movies, I was able to bring them to life in a major theme park during the early 90s. For this project, I was asked to create a little art for a new Turtle fan's birthday. The media is acrylic on connected 12" X 12" canvases.<br />

Even after a season of Peter Capaldi as the Doctor, I'm not sure how I feel about his portrayal. He's a fine actor and I enjoy a great deal of what he brings to the character, but I think the writers have been turning in scripts intended for someone else, whether someone earlier or someone yet to be cast. At least Capaldi gets to share the TARDIS with Clara Oswald.<br />

Matt Smith's eleventh Doctor came crashing into our hearts with a redesigned TARDIS, a penchant for bow ties and fezzes, and a craving for fish sticks and custard. The show itself had some fundamental changes as well, with show runner Russell T. Davies exiting and Stephen Moffat taking lead. While I favor a lot of the tone of the show during Davies' run, Moffat created some of the strongest female characters in the series' history, including my favorite, Clara Oswald. Argue amongst yourselves, if you must, but that's my opinion.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00758401824827014000noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2242957650919856886.post-20524716656825216582015-02-16T10:19:00.001-08:002015-02-16T10:22:22.251-08:00My Doctor!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

No secret, David Tennant is my favorite Doctor. Despite my sadness at losing Eccleston after a single season, I was won over by the end of Tennant's first episode, even though he was unconscious during most of it. His style was easy to relate to, with skinny pinstripe suits and Converse trainers and that wonderful trenchcoat. He was charming and funny and just enough danger to make him riveting. I didn't want him to go.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00758401824827014000noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2242957650919856886.post-26052275936440465452015-02-11T08:52:00.000-08:002015-02-11T08:56:57.998-08:00The return of the DoctorAs a kid, I never really embraced Doctor Who. The alien costumes and low budget special effects sort of turned me off and the local PBS station aired the episodes out of order. I remember a little about the Cybermen being frozen (on Mars?), but that's about it. When the show was revived back in 2005, a friend of mine really pushed to get me to watch. After seeing the first episode, he didn't have to push anymore. The special effects had improved, but the costumes were the particular stand-outs. The second episode was set in the far distant future, aboard a satellite positioned to observe the last moments of the planet Earth's existence. Among the guests were a group of sentient trees that were absolutely gorgeous examples of prosthetic make up and costumes.<br />
Anyway, Christopher Eccleston played the Doctor for one extraordinary season. His strong presence paired with unpredictable humor and an infectious smile easily made the ninth Doctor one of my favorites. And here he is as a ferret.<br />

Next up is Paul McGann's eighth Doctor, but not necessarily the one people might remember from the television movie that aired in the mid 90's. This costume is the more weathered one that makes its appearance in the "mini-sode" that appeared before the 50th anniversary special. With one speech, McGann took his version, one that had been developed as a series of audio adventures, and made it canon. Faced with the most difficult decision of his life, the Doctor had to become something darker...<br />

...which brings us to John Hurt's War Doctor. My understanding is that the original concept was to bring Christopher Eccleston (the 9th Doctor) back for the 50th Anniversary episode and have him team with David Tennant and Matt Smith. Unfortunately, Eccleston's relationship with the franchise has been strained and he turned down the role. That led to the "revelation" of unknown regenerations. <br />

Colin Baker's performance as the sixth incarnation of the Doctor is generally considered a low point in the character's long history. Quite against the actor's hopes, the producers cobbled together an outrageously mismatched costume that would make one long for the days of black and white television. Perhaps the prevailing thought was that if Doctor Who appealed to children, why not make it a children's show? Baker wore a changing cat pin on his lapel, teddy bear buttons on his vest, and a technicolor dreamcoat that would make Joseph feel invisible.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00758401824827014000noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2242957650919856886.post-77719098140615877642015-01-12T20:11:00.000-08:002015-01-12T20:11:58.134-08:00Cricket, anyone? <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The fourth Doctor was arguably the best known of the entire series. As with the previous post, there is a bigger picture planned for the group, but I'll share that a little further down the road. In the meantime, here is the second Doctor, based on Patrick Troughton's appearance.<br />

I had fun with this guy, but creating the plaid for his trousers was tedious. I'm grateful that his original run was in black and white. Maybe someday soon I'll learn how to make that repeating pattern as a swatch so the computer can do it for me. I'm sure that's a thing. </div>

Again.After a really long absence, I've decided to give the blog another go. I enjoy creating artwork and this format allows me to share it, so it's a win-win. Here we go.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I've got a concept I've been developing with a friend. The central character is a ferret, and when you combine that critter with my nerd love of Doctor Who, you get this, the first Doctor of Galliferret. First, you reference a picture of William Hartnell (copyright BBC and all appropriate individuals).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnldiRFD9o2oJyRMB9Jkxfel1uEciQbTcknLZN2NUyaJefEIgWu4AZDUqOlT1hZm7omj1pNVG3O-HanAV4B3oZ_kaMFKWDey-zhev9adEP95LxdiwD9hyphenhyphenxA_MhhKnufZEk8wNYf6v1iGs5/s1600/Doctor-Who.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnldiRFD9o2oJyRMB9Jkxfel1uEciQbTcknLZN2NUyaJefEIgWu4AZDUqOlT1hZm7omj1pNVG3O-HanAV4B3oZ_kaMFKWDey-zhev9adEP95LxdiwD9hyphenhyphenxA_MhhKnufZEk8wNYf6v1iGs5/s1600/Doctor-Who.jpg" height="212" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
From this, I worked up a sketch.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxkTdmiv2XEsl6kab-pJ9Ig5FfLnhY2y2dPMKtpbKDuEFZqqGgSR3d-9pIeJMbOztkCbZ371GQbd4ehCumGR_AZxnBDPer3UtdwSE3Mt2RCGH4QVadPVr3T5DBgc0Y5nhfkl5QPf1_epbK/s1600/1stDoctorFerret.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxkTdmiv2XEsl6kab-pJ9Ig5FfLnhY2y2dPMKtpbKDuEFZqqGgSR3d-9pIeJMbOztkCbZ371GQbd4ehCumGR_AZxnBDPer3UtdwSE3Mt2RCGH4QVadPVr3T5DBgc0Y5nhfkl5QPf1_epbK/s1600/1stDoctorFerret.jpg" height="320" width="247" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Finally, I went into Adobe Illustrator and came up with this.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZu38eYPk42kWM7mDoesi5gcr8Z0QWTeC-5C0di_Lt0VwZcJx_ODyhhWeHAsXfsDXJUrWsrwCY52I5adY1gGCapwLxEa6kmxIWkDq_1o98oL9P39GvxaO2Og0UJbDQ5jGeahUnZ2ywwE4s/s1600/HartnellFerret1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZu38eYPk42kWM7mDoesi5gcr8Z0QWTeC-5C0di_Lt0VwZcJx_ODyhhWeHAsXfsDXJUrWsrwCY52I5adY1gGCapwLxEa6kmxIWkDq_1o98oL9P39GvxaO2Og0UJbDQ5jGeahUnZ2ywwE4s/s1600/HartnellFerret1.jpg" height="320" width="212" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There are a couple more things I plan on doing with this, but it's a good start.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</div>
